Bullying (dalam bahasa indonesia dikenal sebagai “penindasan”) merupakan segala bentuk penindasan atau kekerasan yang dilakukan dengan segaja oleh salah satu orang atau sekelompok orang yang lebih kuat atau berkuasa terhadap orang lain, dengan tujuan untuk menyakiti dan dilakukan secara terus menerus (https://www.kemenpppa.go.id)
Dampak bullying juga cukup berpengaruh pada mental dan diri seseorang contoh dampaknya mengalami ketakutan berlebih, kecemasan, kehilangan kepercayaan diri, mengisolasi diri, memicu gangguan mental, mengalami masalah kesehatan fisik seperti sakit perut dan kurang tidur. Solusi dari tindak bullying adalah seperti memberikan sosialisasi terkait bullying, membuat peraturan tegas bullying dan memberikan teladan atau contoh yang baik. berikut ini beberapa contoh tindakan bullying Yaitu memukul, menampar mendorong mengolok-olok, menyindir, menghina dan mengancam. Disekolah swasta bullying sendiri masih terjadi walau hanya bersifat verbal (Mengejek nama orang tua) dan juga bullying cyber (saling menyindir di sosial media). Cara sekolah tersebut menghadapi pelaku atau korban adalah dengan cara memberi edukasi kepada keduanya dan mereka akan di hadapkan dengan psikolog / guru BK untuk menjalani konsultasi. Disekolah swasta itu juga menfasilitasi sesuatu yang kira-kira dibutuhkan untuk mencegah bullying seperti mendatangkan ahli psikolog untuk memberikan edukasi atau mensosialisasikan tindak bullying dan menempelkan poster anti-bullying.
Maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa kekerasan atau bullying adalah tindakan yang negatif. Jadi dengan adanya sekolah anti kekerasan dan bullying diharapkan dapat mencegah berbagi macam dampak dari tindakan bullying dan kekerasan di sekolah. Maka dari itu kita harus mencegah untuk menjadi pelaku atau korban di dalam kasus ini.
