Pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan) sampai saat ini masih dilaksanakan di setiap sekolah, khususnya di SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta. Hal ini karena pandemi Covid-19 tidak kunjung berakhir. Pembelajaran daring menuntut Ibu/Bapak guru untuk selalu kreatif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik atau menyenangkan untuk siswa agar siswa tidak jenuh dengan pembelajaran daring yang setiap hari mereka laksanakan. Ibu/Bapak guru di SMP Muhdasa secara rutin juga mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran. Kali ini, Jumat, 27 Agustus 2021 Ibu/Bapak guru SMP Muhdasa mengikuti pelatihan “Membuat Game Edukasi dengan Wordwall” dengan narasumber Bapak Andang Budi Harjono, S.Pd. guru mata pelajaran IPA sekaligus selaku Tim In House Training SMP Muhdasa. Beliau membagi ilmunya dan membimbing Ibu/Bapak guru untuk berlatih membuat game edukasi dengan wordwall ini.
Wordwallmerupakansalah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat media pembelajaran yang interaktif. Aplikasi berbasis website ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat media pembelajaran seperti kuis, menjodohkan, memasangkan pasangan, anagram, acak kata, pencarian kata, mengelompokkan, dan sebagainya. Menariknya lagi, selain pengguna dapat menyediakan akses media yang telah dibuatnya melalui daring, juga dapat diunduh dan dicetak pada kertas. Aplikasi ini menyediakan 18 template yang dapat diakses secara gratis serta pengguna dapat berganti template aktivitas satu ke aktivitas lainnya dengan mudah. Guru juga dapat menjadikan konten buatannya sebagai tugas.
Adapun langkah untuk memulai membuat game edukasi dengan wordwall ini sangatlah mudah, yaitu sebagai berikut.
- Mendaftarkan akun di https://wordwall.net/
- Klik Sign Up lalu isikan nama, alamat email, kata sandi dan lokasi.
- Pilih Create Activity lalu pilih salah satu template aktivitas yang disediakan dan disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran.
- Tuliskan judul dan deskripsi permainan.
- Ketikkan konten sesuai dengan tipe permainannya. Pada beberapa tipe, akan diperkenankan mengunggah gambar.
- Klik Done jika telah selesai
Sangatlah mudah dalam membuat game edukasi dengan wordwall ini dan siswa pun dalam praktiknya nanti pasti akan senang karena pembelajarannya dikemas dengan permainan edukasi yang menyenangkan. Meskipun dalam waktu satu jam saja tetapi pelatihan ini sangatlah bermanfaat menambah kreativitas dan ilmu bagi Ibu/Bapak guru SMP Muhdasa.(Meet)
