Ramadhan merupakan bulan yang penuh dengan keberkahan. Pada bulan tersebut, setiap orang berlomba-lomba meningkatkan amal dan kebaikan. Salah satu amal yang utama dikerjakan adalah bersedekah.
Hal ini sebagaimana yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam Tirmidzi; “Rasulullah ditanya sedekah manakah yang utama? Rasul menjawab, sedekah di bulan Ramadhan. Maka tidak heran bila banyak orang yang menyumbangkan hartanya kepada jamaah atau orang-orang yang hendak berbuka puasa. Hal ini pula yang dilakukan oleh siswa-siswi serta para guru di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Muhammadiyah sepuluh Yogyakarta (Muhdasa).
Pada hari Rabu (29/03/23), siswa-siswi SMP Muhdasa bersama para guru melakukan kegiatan berbagi takjil kepada para pengendara sepeda motor jelang buka puasa. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di sekitar sekolah, tepatnya di perempatan Gramedia. Bersinergi dengan Lazizmu Gondokusuman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, SMP Muhdasa secara konsisten menyelenggarakan kegiatan berbagai takjil Setiap tahunnya di bulan Ramadhan.
Meski hujan deras sempat mengguyur kota Yogyakarta, tidak menyurutkan semangat SMP MUHDASA untuk berbagi. Ibu Rina selaku Koordinator Ismuba (Islam, Kemuhaammadiyahan, dan Bahasa Arab), mengatakan bahwa kegiatan yang dimulai pada pukul 17.00 hingga berbuka puasa ini dilakukan guna mengasah empati peserta didik, melatih diri untuk ringan tangan, rajin bersedekah, dan menolong sesama.
“Kegiatan Ramadhan berbagi ini dimulai pada pukul 17.00 hingga waktu berbuka puasa. Harapannya, peserta didik dapat belajar bersedekah dan mudah membantu sesama saudaranya” papar Rina.
Ia juga menyebut bahwa kegiatan Ramadhan berbagai tidak hanya dilakukan satu kali melainkan lima kali selama bulan Ramadhan. Ia juga mempersilahkan kepada para bapak ibu wali murid, dermawan dan para donatur yang ingin turut serta menyumbang dalam kegiatan Ramadhan berbagi.
“Tentunya, keluarga besar SMP Muhdasa akan sangat senang sekali bila banyak pihak yang ikut terlibat dalam agenda Ramadhan berbagi ini” pungkas Rina.
