SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta kembali mengadakan berbagai kegiatan penting bagi peserta didik sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadhan. Kegiatan ini mencakup Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan tema Entrepreneurship Muda: Mengembangkan Jiwa Wirausaha Berlandaskan Nilai-nilai Keislaman, hingga pelaksanaan Sumatif Tengah Semester (STS) untuk kelas 7 dan 8, serta Ujian Praktik (Uprak) untuk kelas 9.
Dalam rangka membangun jiwa wirausaha, siswa diajak untuk terjun langsung ke lapangan guna melihat realitas dunia bisnis. Mereka mengunjungi Lapangan Minggiran dan Pasar Ngasem, tempat di mana mereka berinteraksi dengan para pedagang untuk menggali lebih dalam mengenai dunia kewirausahaan. Selain itu, mereka juga mendapatkan wawasan baru tentang ide usaha dan strategi bisnis melalui sesi pembelajaran di SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta dan SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta.
Tidak hanya itu, kelas khusus kewirausahaan (DBC), yakni kelas 7C, mendapatkan kesempatan belajar public speaking dalam konteks bisnis. Kegiatan ini merupakan hasil kerja sama antara SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. Peserta didik belajar berbicara ala reporter serta mempraktikkan cara mengiklankan atau mempromosikan suatu produk, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka saat berbicara di depan umum. Selain program kewirausahaan, sekolah juga mengadakan agenda evaluasi akademik menjelang bulan puasa. Sumatif Tengah Semester (STS) untuk kelas 7 dan 8 akan berlangsung pada 17-20 Februari 2025, sementara Ujian Praktik untuk kelas 9 dijadwalkan pada 12, 17, 18, 19, dan 26 Februari 2025. Seluruh kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan memberikan hasil yang optimal bagi peserta didik. Dengan serangkaian kegiatan ini, SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta terus berupaya membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dan pengalaman yang bermanfaat, baik dalam bidang akademik maupun non-akademik. Semoga para peserta didik dapat mengikuti seluruh kegiatan dengan baik dan meraih hasil yang maksimal.
