Yogyakarta – Prestasi membanggakan kembali ditorehkan oleh siswi-siswi SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta dalam ajang Kejuaraan Pencak Silat Kota Yogyakarta (KEJURKOT). Tiga siswi berhasil meraih juara dalam kategori tanding, membuktikan dedikasi dan semangat juang mereka di dunia olahraga bela diri tradisional ini. Ferlitha Rasya Yasmin sukses meraih Juara 3 dalam kategori tanding kelas G putri. Sementara itu, Khoirulnisa Nur Safitri menunjukkan performa gemilang dengan meraih Juara 2 pada kategori tanding kelas D putri. Tidak ketinggalan, Fariza Bintang Alzena juga mengharumkan nama sekolah dengan meraih Juara 3 dalam kategori tanding kelas B putri pra remaja. Ajang KEJURKOT ini berlangsung pada 6-8 Februari 2025 di GOR Kota Baru Yogyakarta. Kejuaraan ini menjadi ajang pembuktian kemampuan para atlet muda dari berbagai sekolah di Kota Yogyakarta, termasuk para siswi berprestasi dari SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta. Kepala SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta menyampaikan rasa bangga atas pencapaian ini. “Tahniah kepada para siswi yang telah berjuang dengan penuh semangat. Prestasi ini menjadi bukti bahwa kerja keras, disiplin, dan doa tidak pernah mengkhianati hasil. Semoga pencapaian ini menginspirasi siswa-siswi lainnya untuk terus berprestasi di berbagai bidang,” ujarnya. Beliau juga berharap prestasi ini tidak hanya menjadi kebanggaan semata, tetapi juga menjadi motivasi bagi seluruh siswa untuk terus mengembangkan bakat dan potensi yang dimiliki. “Semoga semakin banyak siswa-siswi yang terpacu untuk berprestasi, tidak hanya dalam bidang olahraga, tetapi juga dalam bidang akademik dan lainnya. Jadikan keberhasilan ini sebagai langkah awal untuk terus berkontribusi bagi kemajuan sekolah dan bangsa.” SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung para siswa dalam meraih prestasi, baik di bidang akademik maupun non-akademik.
