Yogyakarta, 18 Oktober 2024 – SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta sukses menyelenggarakan Sumatif Tengah Semester (STS) Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025 dari tanggal 14 hingga 18 Oktober 2024. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh siswa kelas 7 hingga 9, dengan pengaturan ruang ujian yang diacak untuk menjaga objektivitas pelaksanan. Artinya panitia memastikan ujian berlangsung secara adil dan tidak ada kecurangan. Misalnya, dengan mengacak ruang ujian, siswa tidak bisa duduk bersebelahan dengan teman yang mereka kenal, sehingga mengurangi kemungkinan mereka bekerja sama atau mencontek. Hal ini membantu memastikan hasil ujian benar-benar mencerminkan kemampuan masing-masing siswa secara objektif, tanpa pengaruh dari faktor lain.Pada pelaksanaan STS kali ini, sekolah menggunakan aplikasi GeSchool sebagai platform ujian berbasis teknologi. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk memudahkan proses ujian, memungkinkan siswa untuk mengerjakan soal secara online dan mengakses materi belajar dengan lebih mudah. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis selama ujian berlangsung, semua masalah dapat diatasi dengan baik. “Alhamdulillah, kendala teknis dapat teratasi dengan cepat, sehingga ujian dapat berjalan lancar,” ujar salah satu panitia.
Inovasi penggunaan aplikasi GeSchool ini bertujuan untuk membiasakan siswa dengan teknologi digital dan meningkatkan efisiensi pelaksanaan ujian. Dengan fitur-fitur interaktif yang ditawarkan, siswa diharapkan dapat lebih termotivasi dan merasa nyaman dalam mengikuti ujian. Dengan berakhirnya STS, siswa dapat mengevaluasi hasil belajar mereka selama semester gasal dan mempersiapkan diri untuk tantangan akademik selanjutnya.
