YOGYA – Rabu, (4/9) SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta mengadakan tes psikologi bekerja sama dengan Lembaga Psikologi Bina Asih Yogyakarta. Tes dimulai pada pukul 07.00 hingga 09.00 WIB, bertempat di kelas masing-masing. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh siswa kelas 7, termasuk siswa regular dan inklusi. Tes psikologi ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mengevaluasi fungsi psikologis siswa. Terdapat beberapa aspek yang tercakup dalam tes ini, diantaranya kemampuan kognitif, kepribadian, kecenderungan emosional, dan perilaku.
Melalui kerjasama dengan Lembaga Psikologi Bina Asih Yogyakarta, sebuah lembaga yang ahli dalam bidang psikologi dan konseling, tes psikologi ini dirancang untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang kondisi psikologis siswa. Partisipasi seluruh siswa kelas 7, termasuk siswa inklusi, menunjukkan komitmen sekolah untuk memastikan bahwa semua siswa mendapatkan perhatian yang sama terkait dengan kesehatan mental mereka. Keterlibatan siswa inklusi juga merupakan langkah positif dalam mempromosikan inklusi dan kesetaraan di lingkungan sekolah.
Dengan adanya kegiatan ini pula, sekolah dapat mengukur dan mengetahui perkembangan dan kemampuan anak, kepribadian anak, bakat dan minat serta sebagai media untuk guru mata pelajaran dan berbagai kegiatan sekolah agar menyelesaikan kemampuan masing-masing anak sesuai tes hasil psikologi yang dilaksanakan. Tes psikologi ini bermanfaat bagi peserta didik maupun guru, yakni dapat dijadikan acuan untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan sesuai sasaran serta membantu BK dalam memberikan layanan/tindakan yang terbaik (sesuai dengan kebutuhan/permasalahan siswa). Selain itu, pemahaman siswa lebih baik, pembelajaran yang sesuai, pengembangan program bimbingan dan konseling, pemantauan perkembangan dan pengelolaan kelas yang lebih baik.
Ibu Sajiyah, S.Pd. selaku Guru BK SMP Muhdasa menuturkan, dengan adanya tes psikologi ini semoga dapat membantu Bapak/Ibu Guru dalam memberikan metode pembelajaran kepada siswa sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. “Semoga dengan adanya tes psikologi ini, dapat dijadikan sebuah acuan dalam memberikan treatment yang relevan kepada peserta didik yang bermasalah, baik masalah pribadi, sosial, belajar, maupun karier (jenjang lanjut)”, tambah Bapak Fadhir, S.Pd. selaku Guru BK SMP Muhdasa.
