Pada Rabu, 16 Juni 2021 Tim Penggerak Literasi dari SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta mewakili seluruh penulis buku Antologi “Monumen Pandemi”, menghadap Wakil Gubernur Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta selaku Ketua Satgas Covid Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh Asisten I Setda DIY bidang Pemerintahan dan Administrasi Umum, Sumadi S.H.,M.H, untuk audiensi dan memohon arahan serta motivasi atas terbitnya buku Antologi “Monumen Pandemi” ke masyarakat.
Pada pertemuan ini Asisten I Setda DIY bidang Pemerintahan dan Administrasi Umum Sumadi juga memberi semangat dan selamat atas terbitnya buku Antologi “Monumen Pandemi”, ia berharap semoga nantinya para penulis bisa berkarya lebih baik lagi dan menularkan semangat literasi kepada teman sesama guru atau siswa serta lingkungannya, yang nantinya bisa menjadi inspirasi bagi orang yang ingin belajar menulis dan mempunyai karya tulis berupa buku.
Hadir pula dalam pertemuan ini, Drs. Bachtiar Nurhidayat selaku Kepala Bidang Perencanaan dan Pengembangan Mutu Pendidikan Disdikpora DIY beserta Mahujud, S.Sos.,M.Si. selaku Kepala Pelaksana BPBD DIY, beliau juga memberikan apresiasi dan prestasi yang luar biasa atas terbitnya sebuah karya antologi meski keadaan yang serba terbatas, tetapi semangat untuk menggerakkan literasi tidak pernah terbatas.
Tim Penggerak Literasi SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Yogyakarta yang terdiri dari Nurani Handayani, M.Pd., Dewi Istiqomah, S.E., Mita Septiana, S.Pd.Gr., dan Sugiyartono, S.Pd. menambahkan bahwa buku antologi “Monumen Pandemi” karya wali siswa ini adalah karya kedua setelah buku antologi “Sketsa Pandemi” sebagai tindak lanjut dari ide yang disampaikan oleh Wakil Walikota Yogyakarta selaku Ketua Satgas Covid Kota pada saat Milad Muhdasa 22 Desember 2020 yang ditandai dengan launching buku antologi karya siswa, total buku yang sudah diterbitkan selama pandemi ini sebenarnya sudah ada 3 tetapi yang satu tidak bertema pandemi yaitu buku antologi oleh guru dan karyawan dengan judul “Embun Literasi”.
Dalam pertemuan yang berlangsung kurang lebih satu jam, Tim Penggerak Literasi banyak sekali menerima wejangan yang bermanfaat dari Asisten I Setda DIY bidang Pemerintahan dan Administrasi Umum, sungguh ini pertemuan yang sangat luar biasa dan membanggakan apalagi diakhir acara bersedia diajak foto bersama.
